Unforgettable Days, Beautifully Styled

By checking the box below and typing your name, you agree to this Picnic Service Agreement between Oʻahu Paradise Picnic ("Company") and you ("Guest"), effective as of your booking date. It applies together with the package, date, guests, location and add-ons on your booking.

1. Payment. A 50% deposit is charged today to reserve your date when your event is 7+ days away; the remaining balance is charged automatically to the same card 7 days before your event (we email a reminder first). Inside 7 days, the full amount — including 4.712% Hawaiʻi GET — is due today. A declined balance charge is retried, emailed a pay-now link, and your date is held 48 hours.

2. Cancellation & rescheduling. Deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit may be transferred to a new available date, once, at no charge, if requested at least 7 days before your originally booked date. Cancellations or reschedule requests inside 7 days, and no-shows, forfeit the full amount paid.

3. Weather. Picnics are outdoors and subject to weather and site conditions. If we determine conditions are unsafe, we'll offer a free reschedule or relocate where possible. You may also request a free weather reschedule up to 24 hours before your event.

4. Assumption of risk. An outdoor picnic carries inherent risks — sun and heat, sand and uneven terrain, insects and wildlife, ocean and shoreline conditions, and food allergies from items served or brought by you or your guests. You voluntarily assume these inherent risks. Consistent with Hawaiʻi law, nothing here releases Company from liability for its own negligence, recklessness, or intentional misconduct — this release covers only the inherent risks described above. Please tell us about any known food allergies when you book.

5. Your responsibilities. Please treat rented decor, furniture, linens and equipment with reasonable care — you're responsible for the reasonable repair or replacement cost of anything damaged, lost, or not returned due to your or your guests' negligence or misuse (normal wear excluded). We handle any permits required for the locations we set up at — if you'd like a private venue we don't normally use, just let us know in advance so we can confirm it's permitted before your event.

6. Photo & video. We may photograph or film at your event and use that photo/video for social media and marketing, with no compensation owed to you. If you or your guests would prefer not to be photographed or filmed, just let our team know at your event and we'll honor that.

7. Force majeure. Neither party is responsible for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control (natural disaster, government order, and similar). We'll work with you in good faith to reschedule.

8. Governing law. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi; disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts in the City and County of Honolulu.

9. Electronic signature. Scrolling through this Agreement, checking the box, and typing your full legal name below is your legally binding electronic signature under the federal ESIGN Act and Hawaiʻi's Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (HRS Chapter 489E) — with the same effect as a handwritten signature. A timestamped copy is emailed to you with your booking confirmation.
